Friday Morning Snowshoe Run

Usually Friday’s are a light recovery day for me, however with the beautiful big snowflakes falling and ideal snowshoe running conditions, I just couldn’t stay inside. Even though I’d done a fairly hard snowshoe tempo run last night, this was one of the most enjoyable snowshoe runs I’ve had all year. Good for the body and soul.

I’ve got a pretty busy next few days with a Dion Snowshoe Demo Run on Saturday, instructing the Trailhead Snowshoe Running Clinic on Sunday and then the Canadian Obesity Network Health Expose on Monday. I felt that with all this combined with the busy schedule of snowshoe races in the Dion Eastern Ontario Snowshoe Running Series, that an extra little bit of trail time was required and justified.

Have a great weekend!

Things are certainly beautiful, we’re getting our snowshoes on to go out on our trails to keep them groomed for the snowshoe race on the 20th. We see the deer have also been helping us groom them.
