Spafford Health and Adventure has received it’s first shipment of the state-of-the-art hydration systems by UltrAspire. Please check out the UltrAspire products available at the SHA Online Store. Product is available for immediate delivery. Interest has been very high for these items and we expect to sell through our first shipment quite quickly, so don’t delay if you’re hoping to run with UltrAspire this summer!

Have you tried any of their products? I am specifically wondering what their handhelds. I have small hands and have trouble with the ultimate direction bottles.
Hope all is well.
Hi Aliza,
Congrats on Bear Mt! We were disappointed that we couldn’t make it after my back injury from a wrestling match with a rooster…don’t ask (blog worthy at some point).
Yes, I’ve just had a chance to run with the UltrAspire Pocket and Race handhelds recently. I’ve found that both are able to snug down more so and would fit small hands better. What is really helpful is that the plastic fastener is not on the back of your hand when you tighten the strap, but on the other side of the bottle. I really like this feature as I used to find other handhelds would have the plastic digging into my hand and hurt after a while trying to keep a snug fit. Both handhelds are really nice designs.
Hello Again,
I have been using the Ampipod Handhelds which snug down enough for me and their bottles are shaped differently so my little hands can wrap around. Was just interested to know if I had other options.
It would have been fun to see you guys at Bear Mtn, what a fun course! I hope your back is better, I have learned many times not to mess with Roosters, talk about crazy and unpredictable.
Aliza
Hey Derrick,
If ya get the Impulse belt in let me know. I’m looking to try it for my 100 miler (Run Rabbit Run) next month.
Cheers!
Hey Moogy. Actually, I tried to get it in, but unfortunately it’s not available in Canada this year. Hopefully next year, though I hear that there are going to be some very sweet additions to the line in 2013.
