This is the third race in the 2012 Dion Eastern Ontario Snowshoe Running Series

Featuring a variety of terrain including farmland, meadow, forest, single track and hills. Complete course description and map.

DIRECTIONS:
From Kingston…
Take highway 401 west to Camden East/Millhaven exit 593 (County Rd #4). North 2.8km to Switzerville Road (3rd road on the left). Turn left on Switzerville Road and go 1.8km to Red Barn (1594 Switzerville Road).

FACILITIES:
There will be NO INDOOR FACILITIES. Please bring warm clothes to change into following the race.
WASHROOMS:
There will be a portolet on site.
PARKING:
Free parking at the barn and on Switzerville Road.
SNOWSHOES:
Be sure to bring your snowshoes to the race! If you don’t own a pair of snowshoes, we have a limited fleet of Dion Snowshoes to lend out for the race. They are available on a first come, first serve basis and can be reserved when you register. Other snowshoes may be available for rental at various Kingston and area outdoor stores. If you have any questions, please contact us.
DION SNOWSHOE DISCOUNT AND DEMO:
All race participants are eligible for a 10% discount on Dion Running Snowshoes from Spafford Health and Adventure upon registration. We will also have some Dion demo snowshoes for you to try out after the race.
WEATHER:
In the unlikely event of no snow, the race will still take place as a trail run (without snowshoes).
EARLY ENTRY FEE: $25.00 (Before January 18, 2012)
REGULAR ENTRY FEE: $30.00 (January 19 – February 15, 2012)
LATE ENTRY FEE: $35.00 (Race day)
