Dion Snownergie Snowshoe Race - Results
The Dion Snownergie Snowshoe Race took place on February 8 in Boischatel, Québec. Several events took place over the weekend including trail running and snowshoe running races over various distances.
The 10km snowshoe running event was held as the 2025 Canadian Snowshoe Championships. Participants also were awarded points in the 10km snowshoe race towards the Dion Canadian Snowshoe Series!
Highlights:
David Savard Gagnon was the first male snowshoe athlete to finish in a time of 39:21 for the 10km course. Julien Pinsonneault finished second in 40:17, followed by Yanick Gagnon in 55:35.
Julie Cantin won the women’s race in a time of 62:25, followed by Helene Cournoyer in 64:23.

Looking ahead, the Dion Canadian Snowshoe Series next heads to Hammond Hill, just outside of Ottawa, ON for the Dion Snowshoe Squall Snowshoe Race on February 22nd!
